Your Right to Data Deletion: Under GDPR and other privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to exercise this right with AI Arena.

What Data Can Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, we can remove:

Account Information: Your Google account details, display name, and profile information
Uploaded Content: All AI-generated images and videos you've uploaded
Voting History: Your vote records and preferences
Statistics: Your ELO ratings, competition history, and achievements
Usage Data: App usage analytics and device information
Communication Records: Support tickets and correspondence

What Data May Be Retained

Legal Obligations: Some data may be retained for legitimate business purposes:

Aggregated Statistics: Anonymized data used for platform analytics
Security Logs: Basic security and audit logs (without personal identifiers)
Legal Compliance: Data required by law or for legal proceedings
Fraud Prevention: Minimal data to prevent abuse and maintain platform integrity

Retained data will be anonymized and cannot be linked back to you personally.

How to Request Data Deletion

You have three ways to request deletion of your data:

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1Open the AI Arena app and go to your Profile

2Tap "Settings" or "Account Settings"

3Select "Delete Account"

4Confirm your choice and follow the prompts

Processing Time: Immediate for most data, up to 30 days for complete removal from backups.

Method 2: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@ai-arena.cz with:

Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
Your account email address
Your display name in the app
Reason for deletion (optional)
Confirmation that you understand the consequences

Processing Time: Up to 30 days from verification of your identity.

I understand that deleting my account will permanently remove all my content, statistics, and progress from AI Arena. This action cannot be undone.

I confirm that I am the owner of this account and have the right to request its deletion.

Identity Verification

To protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests, we may ask you to verify your identity by:

Responding from the email address associated with your account
Answering security questions about your account activity
Providing additional confirmation if requested

Processing Timeline

What Happens After Your Request

Immediate (0-24 hours): We acknowledge receipt of your request
Within 3 days: We verify your identity and process the request
Within 7 days: Your account and content are removed from active systems
Within 30 days: Complete removal from backups and offline systems

You'll receive email confirmation at each major step of the process.

Consequences of Data Deletion

Before you proceed, please understand:

You will lose access to your AI Arena account permanently
All your uploaded content will be removed from the platform
Your ELO rating, statistics, and achievements will be deleted
You cannot recover any data after deletion is complete
You can create a new account, but will start fresh with no previous data

Alternatives to Full Deletion

Before deleting your account, consider these alternatives:

Account Deactivation: Temporarily disable your account without losing data
Content Removal: Delete specific content while keeping your account
Privacy Settings: Adjust what information is visible to other users
Break Period: Simply stop using the app without formal deletion
